The Ashton Herigtage Puro Sol line of cigars has a unique sweetness to them and a medium bodied flavor and strength. The characteristics of this cigar seem to fit a morning smoke or mid afternoon. I say this is because the complexity and subtleness of this cigar is more sensitive then say a Liga 9 from Drew Estate. You need to savor these nuances with the most delicate of interruptions such as a cup of coffee or a light lunch. The Ashton Heritage Puro Sol is hand rolled in the Dominican Republic with a Sun Grown Dominican binder/filler and an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. At the infamous Ashton Cigar Bar in Philadelphia they actually have a recommended drink pairing with this cigar called "Mutiny on the Deck". What's unique about this blend is all the tobacco is entirely sun grown, hence the name Puro Sol (Pure Sun) tobacco. This gives the cigar a rich nuttiness with notes of a sweet Latte and bread.
