This cigar performed reasonably well, with the flavor profile ranging mild to medium; it developed more towards the finish, slightly peppery, not much more on the retro hale.  I smoked this cigar with a bottle of Corona and it actually paired quiet nicely.  The cigar burnt well, had good draw, and only had to touch it up once because it started to trail.

The cigar is a Dominican Binder and Filler with a dark oily Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper that has been aged for 5 years.

It list as a med/full flavor cigar, I found it to be more to the medium side with some strength coming from the Nicaraguan wrapper the burn was less than great for the first 1/3 of the cigar with tunneling issues but corrected and the other 2/3 were fine.

Flavor was good with a lot of tobacco flavor with hints of a pepper spice and lite cedar notes. I will smoke this cigar again but not sure if it will make it into my regular rotation.

As always thanks for reading

Aging Room Maduro - 5 x 50

Cigar Tipsters Rating:

The Aging Room Maduro features a dark Nicaraguan Wrapper with Dominican on the inside with a pleasant scent on the pre light draw.

Upon lighting the cigar, you can expect a surprisingly bland flavor.  You will notice light hints of pepper and a bit of cocoa influence on the backside, but overall there just is not a whole lot going on in the flavor department.

I had a fair bit of burn issues with this stick, with 3 touchups over the course of the smoke.  Nicely constructed with a nice draw full of smoke, but the burn issues and flavor are what dictated my overall rating here.

6.8/10
