La Aroma De Cuba - Mi Amor Reserva
Cigar Tipsters Rating:
7.7/10
This cigar was released at the 2012 IPCPR and is in the top 25 for 2013.The pre light draw contains hints of cedar, spice, and well-aged tobacco. The construction is very good with an almost seamless dark, rich wrapper. It is a light box press the edges are rounded off to make for a very nice looking cigar.
The blend has been tweaked from the original La Aroma De Cuba, which I like, but I enjoy this one a bit better. After lighting you get some pepper along with the flavor profile from the pre light draw. This cigar was said to be on the full strength side but I found it to be more of medium strength that transitioned to full strength on the final third of the cigar.
I found this to be a very well balanced and complex smoke and depending on your palate you maybe able to pick out a few more flavors but for me the cedar, spice and hints of dark chocolate were the most noticeable. This is a very good cigar, and I will be smoking more of these in the near future.
