Let me start by saying I am a fan of the San Cristobal line and have been since they first came out in 2007. They are handcrafted in Esteli, Nicaragua with ties to the Garcia family.

I found this to be a very interesting smoke with a lot of flavor with a hit of spicy right from the start that did start to mellow as I continued to smoke. The earthy notes stayed the entire cigar and were very dominant at times there was a sweet finish with hints of cedar and nut.

The construction and burn were excellent I enjoyed the smoke and look forward to keeping a few of these in the humidor.

Thanks for reading

The San Cristobal Revelation is actually the first smoke that I have tried from Ashton Cigars, and quite honestly, it did not disappoint.  This cigar has a unique earthy flavor that stayed fairly consistent over the smoke, I have smoked two of these sticks, and both had consistent earthy flavor throughout.

Aside from the earthiness you will get hints of oak and cedar as you progress through the cigar, more noticeable early on, but present throughout.  The revelation features an excellent draw, with smoke that leaves just a hint of sweetness on the tongue.

The Revelation was one of the best burns that I have had in a while, as is evident in the photo above, where the ash met the label.

Overall this cigar was very enjoyable, and is something that will definitely be a staple in my humidor from now on.  Look forward to smoking this again.

Thanks for reading and herf on.
