The Argon is another limited production of the compounds, elements, musings line.  Another gem from the general cigar creative director Mr. Giannini. The Argon comes in as a 5 1/2 x 50, and not a lot of information after that. The wrapper and binder are unknown, but the fillers include Nicaraguan, Honduran, and Brazilian. The wrapper is muted with a copperish sandy appearance.  The foot smells of sweet tobacco and baking spices.  

 

The first third I'm greeted with a very nice pepper blast.  The draw is FANTASTIC, and so is the burn.  The smoke output is glorious as well.  I'm picking up sweet tobacco, graham cracker, cinnamon, and leather.  This cigar is pretty busy, but you can still taste everything clearly.  It has a very peppery retro.  I also slightly pick up a melonish flavor.  The retro is bouncing around sometimes a blast and sometimes graham cracker.  The flavors are intensifying with a cocoa mineral taste taking over.  This cigar is walking the fine line of being very spicy.  As the first third finishes out, the cocoa, graham cracker, and mineral melon taste with pepper retro are shining bright.

 

At the midpoint, the flavors are still intense but are slowly turning down.  I pick up more of a cinnamon, leather fruit taste.  I'm not sure on fruit almost plantain taste.  The pepper retro is showing up every other puff like it's teasing you.  Flavors are taking a step back as the midpoint concludes.

 

During the final third of cigar, the flavors are all singing in harmony.  A very relaxing experience.  The cocoa, cinnamon and mineral taste are dialed back a lot.  I'm picking up more bitter wood taste.  Is not too harsh though.  The pepper retro has subsided more into a creamy woodsy flavor.  This cigar is definitely medium-full.  The burn and draw stay phenomenal throughout the whole cigar with a beautiful salt and pepper ash.
