Hermosa Cigars Toro
Cigar Tipsters Rating:
First Third: I elected to use a punch cut on this cigar, and with the initial light came quite a bit of spice. This spice would calm down a bit roughly an inch into the cigar, and would be joined by a cedar/coffee combination. The first ash fell roughly 1-¼ inches into the stick. By this point coffee has become the dominant flavor and the spice has mostly faded.
Second Third: Towards the middle of the cigar, the flavors had leveled out nicely with the coffee and cedar flavors being dominant, while hints of spice would still pop up at times. The finish of this section of the cigar provides a robust coffee flavor with just a slight bitter note.
The Finish: Still smooth with some cedar and spice finding its way in with the predominant coffee flavor. The burn was solid and required no touch ups along the way. The cigar did become slightly harsh during the final two inches of the stick, but overall this was a good smoke.
