Cigar Tipsters Rating:
I must admit that I have an affinity for barber pole cigars. One of my favorites is the CAO America, but the 7-20-4 Hustler takes the barber pole to the next level. The cigar is rolled with the Brazilian Meta Fina wrapper, and then there is a smaller strip of the Ecuadorian Connecticut that is wrapped over the darker wrapper, which creates an absolutely beautiful cigar.
On the pre-light draw, and throughout the smoke, pepper and coffee are the dominant flavors, but are by no means overwhelming. This is a medium strength cigar that features a very smooth smoke, I have had two of these cigars, and I do have to say that the draw was a bit tight on both of them, but the flavor is worth powering through it. Burn was fairly even and consistent throughout. After all the tallying was done, I rated this cigar a 7, and it will likely be something that is regularly inside my humidor. Look forward to trying more of the 7-20-4 offerings.

I am not the best when it comes to cigar pairings, but one of my go to drinks is Jim Beam - Devil's Cut and this happens to pair very well with the Hustler. So, give that combo a try if you are looking for an interesting pairing.
