We here at Cigar Tipsters were lucky enough to be apart of one of the very first launches for the Cuatro Cinco by Joya de Nicaragua.  Cuatro Cinco translates to 4 5 which signifies the 45^th anniversary of Joya de Nicaragua.  This cigar has an excellent presentation, with 2 bands; one of those being two sided.  The back of the main band features pictures from the history of Joya de Nicaragua.  The cigar itself is a 6 x 54 box press and is also a Nicaraguan Puro.  The filler on this cigar is quite special, it is a blend of Estelí and Jalapa tobaccos that have been aged for one year inside oak barrels.

 

This is a Nicaraguan puro, so you can expect to be smoking a full flavored cigar when you light it up.  The dominant flavor is a peppery spice that is accented by a lightly sweet espresso flavor.  This cigar manages to strike an excellent balance and does not let the pepper flavor overwhelm the smoker.  I had two of these sticks before writing this review, and both were excellent.  Both sticks featured excellent burn, with no touch ups, and a great draw that provided a mouthful of smoke.  This was also one of the more consistent cigars that I have smoked in a while.  The sticks flavor stayed pretty much the same from top to bottom. 

 

This truly is a stick that is worth of commemorating the 45^th anniversary of Joya de Nicaragua and that is also worthy of the price point in which it falls.  The only downside to this cigar is that it is a limited release that consists of 4,500 boxes that each feature 10 cigars.  So, if you are as big a fan of this cigar like I am, I suggest stocking up, this is one that you do not want to let slip by.
